In 1976, Luis Felipe Edwards Sr. purchased the Fundo San José estate in Puquillay, Colchagua Valley. From those original 60 hectares of old vines, Luis grew the estate into Chile's largest family-owned winery. Their Pinot Noir comes from the cool, coastal region of Leyda; an up-and-coming region, that is building its reputation around the quality of the Pinot produced there. With classic Pinot notes of ripe cherry, fresh earth and hints of clove and cinnamon on the nose, leading into a softly structured, flavourful and easy drinking wine. This silky and delicious wine is a natural pairing for salmon, halibut or Thanksgiving leftovers.
