Scents of pineapple, quince and apple project ripeness typical for this Jamek bottling, anticipating a full, lush, luscious, fruit-dominated midpalate. But whereas bitterness or drying from botrytis or high alcohol sometimes plagued early-21st-century Jamek Liebenberg bottlings, this one displays polish and refreshing primary juiciness. A faint suggestion of sweetness reinforces the succulent fruit dominance as well as the nut-cream accents of a finish that lingers soothingly, yet also delivers stimulating, varietally typical hints of white pepper.

If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location.
