Equal parts chardonnay and pinot noir with five years on the lees, this is toasty, very yeasty-biscuity traditional method sparkling wine, with the mature, barley sugar, wheat toast character of maturing bubbly in the traditional style. The palate is fullish and broad, with high intensity flavours, and very good to excellent length. Fans of mature and autolytic bubbly will find happiness here. I'd say, à point, ready to go. Great stuff.
