Aromas of plum, blackberry, spices, herbs and peppery licorice. Supple and nicely concentrated, with dark fruit and mocha flavors lifted but not overwhelmed by a peppery element. Has good ripeness and mid-palate texture to support its fairly serious tannic spine. Savory on the finish in a Medoc way.

90 Points "A distinct style, with roasted herb, espresso, fresh earth and dried berry flavors that slowly unfold, finally revealing a sweetness on the finish. Full-bodied and supple-textured." —James Laube, Wine Spectator, March 2010
