A 14 year old single malt from Glenora Distillers in Nova Scotia, Canada, released as part of their Glen Breton Rare range. Tasty stuff, with a surprising subtle smokiness to it...
Nose: Cedar wood, sponge cake dusted with icing sugar, black pepper.
Palate: Barley sugar sweets, a hint of bonfire ember, bourbon-cask-vanilla tannins and a little nutmeg.
Finish: Medium length with a little touch of fresh vanilla pod.
