Produced by the Giulio Cocchi Spumanti company, this is a classic vermouth which was first produced in 1891. It is based on a recipe with Moscato wine, sourced from Asti, near Turin.
Nose Rich spices and fruit. Hints of cured ham, peppermint and curry spices.
Palate Cocoa and raisins. Rich fruit and bittersweet peels. Orange zest, aniseed and overripe grape.
Finish A faint hint of smoke, with tangy wood and spice.
Overall A beautifully rich, bittersweet vermouth.
