Fattoria Zerbina 2011 Marzieno Ravenna Rosso IGT 750ml

This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from the Ravenna IGT which is within the Emilia-Romagna region. Partly matured in a variety of oak barrels for a year. On the nose, blackberry, cherry, baking spice, tobacco, and cocoa. More of the same on the palate, with subdued fruit, smooth and velvety tannins, powerful and fresh. Pair with local cuisine such as ragu, cured meats, and medium aged cheese.
