Donna Maria 2013 Syrah 750ml

This is a wine dedicated to Donna Maria, the wife of Viña Falernia's owner. In 1951, with their seven children, the family decided to immigrate to Chile from Italy. Drawing upon that influence, this wine is made in the Italian appassimento style using a proportion of dried grapes. Nose of fragrant flowers, black pepper and spice. Rich and full-bodied, harmonious, with soft tannins. Rich fruit flavours and spices are well balanced in a lingering finish.
