Domaine Marchand-Tawse 2013 Nuits St. Georges 750ml

(a blend of several components, mostly from the Vosne-Romanée side of the village; the largest village cuvée here in terms of bottles produced; vinified with 15% whole clusters): Good full red. Aromas of redcurrant, iron and dried flowers, plus hints of tobacco and menthol. Deliverly good juicy cut to its red fruit and pepper flavors, with sound acidity and a rocky underpinning giving the wine solid structure.
