The 2018 vintage, with its historical low yield but exceptional quality, allowed the roussanne to fully express itself : elegance, finesse and length are the main characteristics of these unique vintage and wine.

There are records showing the Brunel family has owned vineyards in the Southern Rhone for centuries, and now Andre Brunel and his son Fabrice hold 21 hectares in Chateuneuf du Pape and 40 hectares in Côtes du Rhone. The CDP vines come from several lieu-dites, with the oldest located in Farguerol in the north of the appellation, which was replanted in 1889 after the phylloxera epidemic. The CDR vines come from two vineyards, one to the north near Orange and one on the opposite side of the Rhone near Lirac.
