Our red Vin de France comes from two Rhône-side plots. For us, it’s very simple: they are called Grand Rhône and Petit Rhône!
This tongue of land between river and pebbles is conducive to producing Vin de France, formerly known as Vin de Table… A fresh, unassuming but pleasurable wine… We take the same care with our Vin de France as with our other wines: we grow the grapes organically, work the soil, hand pick the grapes in 50 kg crates, and sort them twice, at vine and in cellar. The grapes are destemmed and crushed; we only use native yeasts, and conduct daily pumping-over. The wine is matured in concrete vats, then typically bottled six months after harvest.
