The 2017 Hautes Côtes de Nuits Rouge has a little more amplitude than the Bourgogne Pinot Noir on the nose, where touches of brown spice filter through the red berry fruit. The palate is well balanced and quite fleshy on the entry, with a little more grip than the Bourgogne Rouge on the finish. Give this a year in bottle. Fine.
