Dixeebe Espadin, crafted by Valentin Cortes in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca, is an expression of traditional mezcal-making artistry. Produced from the maguey Espadin (Agave angustifolia), it's cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by tahona, and double-distilled in a copper still. Part of the US launch of four Dixeebe mezcals in March 2022, this mezcal encapsulates the essence of the Cortes family's 180-year history in mezcal production.
