Daydreamer 2020 Marcus Ansems Chardonnay 750ml

Tasting this wine from barrel was when we realized that we had something really exciting on our hands with the 2020 vintage. We already knew the wines would be richly concentrated, thanks to naturally low yields in the vineyard. But what honestly stood out was the incredible precision and definition of the fruit.

Barrel after barrel tasted like the fruit had just been picked from an Okanagan orchard. Green apple and peach, lightly accented by delicate spices and hazelnut. It's all about freshness, and the crisp, lemony acidity gives this real verve. So, we didn't have to do much. You'll notice a slight haziness to this wine. We bottled it unfined and unfiltered because we didn't want to take anything away.
