Unfurling in the glass with notes of peonies, wild berries, rose petals and Indian spices, the 2017 Fleurie La Dot is medium to full-bodied, firm and concentrated, with a muscular chassis of tannin, lively acids and a perfumed but tannic finish. This is the most overtly extractive of the Clos de Mez wines.
