Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Rouge 2009 Pessac Leognan 750ml

Packed and very backward, with taut tobacco, iron and bittersweet cocoa notes up front, while the core of crushed plum, roasted fig and cassis flavors is held in reserve. Young and intense nose, some roasted oak and a plethora of dark berries, some spicy and herbal notes too, it has medium weight but good density on the palate with inky fruit, high freshness and fine tannic backbone, attractive and pure finish, very elegant.
