Always a solid, enjoyable wine, the 2018 Château La Grande Clotte comes from the Lussac Saint-Emilion region and has a healthy purple hue to go with complex notes of blueberries, currants, cedary spice, new leather, and dried flowers. With medium-bodied richness, notable complexity, terrific balance, and a great finish, this character-filled red is going to evolve gracefully for 10-12 years, if not longer.
