Description
From Denis Barraud, the value-priced 2016 Château de La Cour D'Argent (mostly Merlot with 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) reveals a deeper, saturated purple color as well as a pretty, elegant, medium-bodied style to go with lots of bloody black cherry and blueberry fruits, some earthy, herbal characteristics, fine tannins, and impressive balance. It's nicely balanced, has tons of character, and is a smoking value. Drink: 2019-2031.
