Champagne Ullens Domaine de Marzilly Brut 750ml

The Brut (2019) is a blend of 80% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay from the Massif de Saint Thierry. Plum and red apple come with a smoky inflection on the nose. Foamy mousse is exuberant on this youthful wine which has lovely concentration on the mid-palate. The very youthfulness gives this much energy and destines it for aperitif where the plummy Meunier fruit can shine.
