From a hillside parcel of tuffeau soil, aged two years in 50-hectoliter foudres. A deep, dark, savory nose of olive, plum, dill and even a hint of tomato. In the mouth, there’s bright fruit (cranberry and cherry), but also something more muscular at midpalate, along with chunky tannins. The chalky finish hints at smoke and struck stone.
