“Campbell Kind Wines is a new project from Lifford Wine & Spirits founder Steven Campbell, build on his decades of travelling the wine world and connections in this industry. These are carbon neutral wines selected and produced by his winemaker friends worldwide, packaged with the Kind Wine packaging, and line priced across Canada at a very attractive price. The aim is to overdeliver value for drinkable, well-crafted wines while making an environmentally responsible choice. This is an organic Catalan blend of garnacha, cariñena and syrah, made in conjunction with Ed Adams MW and Bruce Jack. The vineyards are located in Terra Alta, and this had a two-month layover in oak. Sun-ripened blue fruit, wild blackberries leads this rustic red, with cedar spiced wood lining the ragged tannins to a grippy, warming finish — tastes of the wilds of eastern Spain.”
