A slightly riper nose is more obviously 2018 in style with its aromas of black cherry, cassis and discreet pepper nuances. In much the same fashion as the old vines Santenay, the lighter weight flavors possess good precision as well as a more attractive mouthfeel before terminating in a nicely complex and sneaky long finish. This is light but attractive in its fashion and a wine that could easily be enjoyed young.
