"Without doubt, this is the leading estate in Madiran. For the last 20 years and owner Alain Brumont has done an enormous amount for the appellation. He set the example by reducing yields, increasing the density of vines per hectare, using only the best available grafts and only harvesting perfectly ripe grapes. Today, Brumont is still bursting with fresh ideas and is constantly working on improving his wines. This wine, a blend of the local Gros Manseng and Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect example of his diversification - crisp, light and elegant, blending the international with the local and achieving excellent results. This is a highly aromatic wine, with lots of flavour, loads of fruit and great acidity to it.
