The 2017 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva shows smoked meats, wild berries, alpine herbs and hints of animal spice. This is packed full of citrusy tension, yet with a concentration of tart red fruits and mineral tones that saturate. It tapers off grippy with fine tannins, yet it’s still sweetly pleasing and quite easy to like.
