Vineyard – Bob’s Roadside Fruit Stand

Region – North Oliver, Okanagan

Thoughts – We wanted to create a Sauvignon Blanc that was a polite cat’s piss off to Oyster Bay (or at the very least, Monkey Bay). We were fortunate to find a cooler vineyard site that’s way more suitable for proper Savvy, errr, Sauvignon Blanc, than most places in the valley (right at the first blocks of vines in Oliver along highway 97). It also happened to be farmed by a great guy (Bob).

Taste – As noted above, this is a fruit stand; no veggies here. So if you’re looking for asparagus, peas, herbs, grass, kohlrabi or whatever, this is not the wine for you. Fresh citrus, stone fruit and honeydew melons are for sale at this stand, along with a free side of chalky minerality with every purchase.
