"Bright straw-yellow. Sexy, musky aromas of ripe peach, spices, hazelnut and roasted nutty oak; conveys a strong barrel fermentation character. Plush, silky and sweet, with generous stone fruit, spice and nut flavors given surprising lift by sound acidity and underlying minerality. Lovely texture here, with surprising life on the palate to support a few more years of development. Fills the mouth without any heaviness. I find this sweeter but fresher and less obviously oaky than the 2013 version."
