Alzinger 2018 Muhlpoint Federspiel Gruner Veltliner 750ml

The 2015 Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Mühlpoint is sourced in the upper (and thus more stony) part of the site where Alzinger holds several parcels, which also source the Mühlpoint Federspiel. The wine opens with a very clear and lightly smoky bouquet of white fruits and spicy herbal flavors. Medium to full-bodied, round and juicy on the palate, this is an elegant and piquant, lingering salty wine with an intense fruit aroma in the finish. The wine is ripe and pretty rich, but also fresh and stimulating due to its piquant and salty acidity. Good finish.
