This wine is a rare blend of Eden Valley Shiraz, typically a red wine grape, and Viognier, the white variety. Although the juices from Viognier grapes are generally clear or light in colour, this wine manages an incredible midnight plum - almost black colour. Wonderful. Upon first sip, you are greeted with a nose of plums and cherries, followed by some oak, blue fruits, and some great acidity. Not exactly a full-bodied wine and you won't find many mouth-drying tannins here. There is a bit of oak on the finish. Try with pasta and meat sauce, steaks, and sliced meats.
