Fresh and complex, deep purplish red. This wine reveals intense aromas of berries and cherries, floral notes, herbs, and subtle earthy notes. Red fruits and spicy notes present in the mouth. Highly concentrated and vibrant, captures the palate with power and elegance. Tannins very present, structured, round and ripe. Very persistent. Great aging potential of at least five to six years.
DO Maule is located 350 kilometers south of Santiago and is the largest wine region of Chile. With around 30,000 hectares planted, it represents about a quarter of the national total. In central and west where these two vineyards are located, the climate is warm to hot. Summers are usually hot and dry, with daily temperatures of 29 ° C to 32 ° C on average and cold nights, with 11 ° C to 13 ° C. Autumn is cold, wet and rate of rainfall is 700 mm and 1,000 mm, depending on the area. The grapes come from two old vineyards selected Maule Valley. Both are complementary, grown in dry land, planted rootstock and managed with minimal intervention.
