Depths of crushed stone, dried apricot and peaches are complemented by sweet smoke at the 2019 Trebbiano Massifitti blossoms in the glass. This is silky yet vertical in feel with a core of saline minerality that perfectly offsets its ripe orchard fruits. The 2019 finishes lightly structured and full of tension, as residual acids add a mouth-watering sensation, calling me back to the glass. Nearly a minute later and honeyed inner florals still resonate. What a beauty.
