This normally reliable négociant has turned out a highly respectable 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape. It's spicy and leathery up front, marked by hints of pepper, clove and vanilla, then plush and round on the full-bodied palate, filled out by ripe cherry fruit. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
