These grapes were harvested by hand from Barrancas, Maipu in Argentina. Cold maceration takes place for 2 days and fermented for a further 15-20 days, with an additional maceration lasting another 10-15 days. Almost half the wine is aged in American Oak for 8 months, which gives the wine its added structure. Filtered before bottling to give a bright appearance in your glass. Alcohol is at 14% with a Ph level of 3.7.
Clean and fruity on the nose. Plums and quince aromas with a touch of balanced oak. Blackberry and licorice fruit notes on the palate. Rich and longer than expected finish with smoky accents of vanilla and more oak. Try with pasta and white or red cream sauce.
