Mount Pleasant 2019 "Old Paddock & Old Hill" Shiraz 750ml

From some of the oldest shiraz vines in existence. This is very good. Sumptuous of flavour, floral and lifted and juicy in the mouth. Delicious. Lilac, pastille, star anise, rosewater and jubilant red- and blue-fruit accents (growing darker with air) mingle and shimmy across a succulent mid-weighted palate. Some Hunter suede and terracotta, too. The oak, an addendum, barely detectable. Impressionable energy and stellar length. Very impressive. The tangy acidity, the sole caveat.
