Les Combes d'Arneval is a lieu-dit, an informal name for a small area known by locals that's not on any map. An old hunting hangout, this particular lieu-dit spans 25 hectares of vines and is located just a few kilometers from Châteauneuf-du-Pape village. Strong Mistral winds keep the grapes healthy and disease-free, while the surrounding forest provides for an optimal microclimate. This wine has a red berry nose with aromas of redcurrant and raspberry. Smooth and silky in the mouth with a lingering creamy finish. Typical regional blend of Grenache Mourvedre, and Syrah - all vinified separately before blending. Pair with smoky grilled meat and gratin dishes.
