The 2011 Estate Malbec sees 20% of the crop aged in American and French oak, the remainder in concrete vessels. It has a compelling, very natural bouquet of mulberry, dates and wild strawberry that is very well-defined and as fresh as a daisy. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine, supple tannins. This is a very harmonious Malbec where the oak is perfectly in tune with the fruit, allowing the vibrant red berry finish to fan out unimpeded. Quite simply, this is a delicious Patagonian Malbec.
