Fondreche 2022 Ventoux White 750ml

Fermented in stainless steel without any malolactic fermentation, this wine is then aged in concrete for six months before bottling.  A lovely blend of 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Roussanne, 30% Clairette and 10% Rolle this wine has an intense nose of white flowers, ripe stone fruit and citrus.  The palate is fresh and lively with just a hint of saline and minerality on the finish.  A textbook example of a white Rhone wine.

One of the consistently superb estates in the Cotes du Ventoux, Domaine de Fondreche offers very high quality and reasonable prices. The creation of Sebastian Vincenti and Manou Barthelemy, these wines are bursting with fruit and have loads of minerality and aromatics. They are beautiful efforts representing the best of what a young generation of French producers can do. The estate is just under 100 acres in size and is now 100% biodynamically farmed.
