“A fun-loving blend of 30% Grenache Blanc, 30% Roussanne, 30% Clairette and 10% Rolle. This wine has an expressive nose of white flowers, ripe peach, grapefruit and a touch of marzipan. On the palate the wine has racy acidity with tangerine, peach and honeysuckle all on display. This wine is incredibly balanced with a racy line of minerality running through it. Drink now or cellar for another 5 years and watch this wine gain more complexity and heft.”
- Jon Ellison, Marquis Wine Cellars
One of the consistently superb estates in the Cotes du Ventoux, Domaine de Fondreche offers very high quality and reasonable prices. The creation of Sebastian Vincenti and Manou Barthelemy, these wines are bursting with fruit and have loads of minerality and aromatics. They are beautiful efforts representing the best of what a young generation of French producers can do. The estate is just under 100 acres in size and is now 100% biodynamically farmed.
