Domaine Serafin 2022 Gevrey Chambertin "Le Fonteny" 1er Cru 750ml

Ripe, elegant, pure and fresh aromas of spiced plum, violet and a whiff of humus are trimmed in similar notes of wood and menthol. The notably finer, and notably more mineral-driven, middleweight flavors possess both good volume and a certain mid-palate generosity before terminating in a youthfully austere, balanced and sneaky long finale. This is also quite compact but packed with development potential.
