Domaine Nico 2022 Pinot Noir Grand Mere 750ml

The 2022 Pinot Noir Grand Mère hails from Villa Bastías in the Uco Valley and was aged for ten months in French oak, 18% in a 20-hectoliter foudre and 82% in third-use barrels. Ruby-red in the glass. The herbal nose offers sweet and sour cherry notes intertwined with damp earth and rose petals, with the profile made more complex by forest undergrowth hints. The palate is lean and refreshing, with a taut mouthfeel and wild character before the lingering sage-inflected finish. The 2022 is a distinctive, layered Pinot Noir.
