Derived from fully 32 different parcels, many of which are rich in clay, the 2017 Pouilly-Fuissé offers up a generous bouquet of fresh peach, warm pastry and yellow apples, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and muscular palate that's powerful and concentrated.
Sébastien Giroux, brother of Olivier Giroux of Clos des Rocs, took over the direction of this six-hectare domaine in 2009 after a "stage" with the Bret Brothers. Harvesting is by hand, followed by gentle pressing and élevage in barrel and tank, adapted to the cuvée. The wines are supple, pure and charming, with the Pouilly-Fuissé Les Radillons standing out for its additional depth and dimension this year.
