Initial honeycomb notes, slightly earthy, with a waxy note, kind of like white Burgundy but more vibrancy. Twelve months in oak, 10% of which is new. What I like about the wine is the oak is from eastern Europe – Austria & Hungary. This oak has a much tighter grain than French. Quite delicious.
