Sangiovese is the staple variety in Tuscany and synonymous with Chianti and Brunello wines. Considered a reflection of its terroir, Sangiovese creates wine styles that vary from light and floral, to dark and highly tannic.
This wine is a lively ruby red with fragrances of cherry, cranberry and redcurrant, well mixed with light aromas of oak. On the palate, there's a harmonious, rounded mouthfeel that presents more cherry and red fruits. Very versatile with a few years of ageing potential. For best results, allow wine to breathe for 30 mins and serve with tomato-based dishes, sausages, and turkey.
