Wine is one of the greatest hand-crafted beverages in the world. It is nurtured by passionate artisans who love what they do and respect their land. They farm in a responsible, sustainable manner and craft wines with style, personality and flavour unique to their place of origin. It is these artisans that Marquis Wine Cellars actively seeks out, embraces and promotes.
Marquis Wine Cellars is a community-based business. We do our utmost to support the culinary arts and community charities which contribute to the well being and enhancement of our neighborhood and the city of Vancouver.
NEW ARRIVALS
We are proud to offer you the most unique selection of specialty wines in the province. Through extensive research, travel, and painstaking tasting, we source most of our wines producer-direct. We strive to make sure that we have a quality product and that you have the lowest possible price.
We have new wines arriving at the store every week. Some are new vintages of old favourites and many are newly sourced out, unique and/or up-and-coming producers. Keep checking back to see what’s just arrived or take a look at our In the Pipeline... section to see which new and great wines are on their way the store.
Burgundy & Rhône: Edition III
After many weeks of waiting and much anticipation, Marquis Wine Cellars is pleased to announce the release of its Burgundy & Rhône: Edition III booklet. This year’s offering includes many returning producers from Editions I & II, plus several new producers that Marquis Wine Cellars is very proud to introduce to you. You will also notice that in many cases, we have expanded the selection of wines available from those producers included in last year’s booklet. Several of the wines contained in the booklet are only available in limited quantities and are likely to sell out quickly, so don’t delay in submitting your order.

Luncheon with Daniel Brunier of Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe
Daniel Brunier is vigneron and owner of Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe and La Roquète in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, along with his brother, Frédéric. He also co-owns Domaine Les Pallières in Gigondas. Vieux Télégraphe was established in 1898 by Hypolithe Brunier on the highest terrace of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, called “Plateau de la Crau”. Today, the domaine extends over 170 acres and is one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's leading wineries year in and year out.
We will be pouring a selection of wines from Daniel’s portfolio, including some older vintages, generously supplied by Daniel. Jean-Yves Benoit of Mistral French Bistro has created a special menu to highlight the unique qualities of these wines. Buy your tickets early as this event is bound to sell out quickly!
