This is made in the manner of a Sancerre and comes in a slope necked bottle. Brilliant medium gold colored, it offers attractive aromas of pear, melon and citrus, with scents of lilac, lemongrass and a hint of fig. The flavors are fresh, lively and well extracted (from whole cluster pressing and stainless steel fermentation) with an essential minerality that gives the wine character. The back picks up touches of melon rind and vanillin (from partial oak aging), followed by a lingering crisp (no malolactic) citrus tinged finish.
