Woodward Canyon 2010 Merlot 750ml

This wine shows beautifully with elegant high toned fruit, very nice acidity and overall proportion. The Weinbau Vineyard has produced a complex flavor profile of subtle cherry, spice and coffee while the Woodward Canyon property offers more earth. Notes of fruit, spiced oak, leather and earth are in the aroma. Rich black cherry fruit and fully mature tannins make this wine generous and balanced enough for current drinking, yet with the complexity and structure to age well for six to eight years.
