"(made from old cabernet sauvignon vines and aged in used French oak): Deep ruby. Pungent cherry and dark berry scents, plus notes of cured tobacco and dried flowers. Chewy blackberry and bitter cherry flavors give way with air to brighter red fruits, with juicy acidity providing lift and cut. Closes with tooth-dusting tannins and very good, fruity persistence. An interesting take on cabernet, with the requisite structure and balance to age. The importer says there's some garnacha in here but the label doesn't disclose it. 91 points"
