Vincent Caille 2014 Gros Plant 750ml

From the French appellation of Gros-Plant du Pays Nantais, this wine is made from Folle Blanche grapes by 5th generation independent producer Fay d’Homme .  "Gros Plant" is also called "Folle Blance," or literally 'crazy white.' This wine has not undergone malolactic fermentation and is made with all natural yeasts. Only lightly filtered, ageing was conducted in underground concrete tanks for 8 months. This grape variety can be found in the best Armagnacs due to its retention of delicate flavours even when distilled.
