Bright yellow-gold. Yellow peach, apricot, hazelnut, toast and an almost exotic honeyed note on the expressive oaky nose, lifted by a floral element. Wonderfully silky and fine-grained, with a saline restraint to its sweetness. Perhaps a bit aggressive in a New World way but this wine's mineral element accentuates its impression of dryness. This impressively mouthfilling Chardonnay finishes surprisingly firm-edged and very long, with noteworthy grip. Drink: 2019-2024.
