This wine is blend of Bobal and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes; for those unfamiliar with Bobal, it's a unique blue grape variety planted only in Spain and mainly in Valencia where this wine was produced. Known for being able to withstand high temperatures, Bobal produces wine that's darker in colour with a smooth finish. The Cabernet lends its mid-palate fruit to create a delicious combination that hits all the right spots.
The juicy nose combines ripe plums with floral touches of violets. It holds a nice tannic structure. Pluvium is quite round on the palate and boasts great acidity which highlights its liveliness and balance.
