Marquis Tasting Note:
The Valdibella team emphasized the importance of the ancient variety Catarratto. It is a traditional and flagship wine for them. Vines are grown by most members in the co-operative, planted to hillside sites in gobelet (bush vine) training systems. Soils are mixed calcareous and clay. The name Munir is a reference to the source of light. The Munir is golden in colour, weighted in the mouth with fresh acidity and displays notes of white flower, citrus, subtle vanilla and persistent minerality.
