Tyrrells 2014 Lost Block Semillon 750ml

Apparently there’s a story behind the Lost Block, that one of the Semillon vineyards had one block of fruit left that got forgotten, so it developed and got riper. Tyrrell’s loved the style as it was fuller and richer so decided to keep it. We are glad they did as it’s a little different to the regional style yet the wine still does not miss out on its vital Semillon character. It has a lemon/lime core but it’s clean and soft on the palate ensuring it drinks brilliantly in its youth on its own or with seafood.
